Obverse King facing in armour holding sword and shield, standing on ship, shiled quartered with the arms of England and France. ED WARD DEI GRA REX ANGL DNS HYB Z AQST. Annulet and Saltire before ED.

Reverse, Floriate cross with lis at terminal of each arm and an ornamented compartment in the centre containing the letter E. Lion passant in each angle with a crown above each, all within a tressure of eight arches. IHC AVTEM TRANSIENS PER MEDIVM ILLORVM IBAT.
