Flint implement dating from the middle Neolithic to late Bronze Age, 9500 - 700 BC. Translucent white colour with a grey from underneath. Struck with a hard hammer, there is a prominent bulb of percussion and strongly defined ripple marks. The implement is longitudinally curved, and is oval in shape. The extent of the retouch is short and stepped, with a semi abrupt angle. There are notches running down the length of one of the sides, suggesting a serrated edge. The flint is worn. The flint measures 48.6mm in length, 22.4mm in width, 6.1mm in thickness, and weighs 4.93g.
