A silver penannular ring of unknown function and date, but likely to be relatively modern and therefore not qualify as potential treasure. The ring comprises a circular-section piece of wire which has been bent into a hoop. The wire is decorated with circumferential grooves which are slightly worn at the terminals. It has an inner diameter of 21mm and an outer diameter of 25mm. The wire has a width of between 3 and 4mm.
