A complete copper alloy furniture fitting of Post-Medieval date (AD 1650-1800). The object is composed of a cast circular mount with a raised border and a central circular fixing hole. The display face bears the low relief depiction of a compact bloom with an inner pellet border around the fixing hole and projecting, pointed spurs, between each of the semi-circular lobes. The back of the object is slightly concave.
The metal is a mid-green in colour with areas of brown corrosion and a pitted patina.
