Copper alloy and iron brooch. Cast hinged Colchester derivative brooch, Mackreth type CD H 9.d. The bow tapers towards a tiny pedestal foot with the stub of a catch plate behind it. The type is also known as the East Midlands Enamelled. Suggested date: Early Roman, 75-125.
