Medieval? lead alloy pilgrim badge, 20mm long 18mm wide and 2mm thick with a weight of 3.27g. The object is rectangular in form and cross section and depicts a bearded? figure with a possible halo of pellets or a headress around its head. The figure has its arms raised upwards by its head (in an attitude of early Christian prayer?) and is wearing a long sleeved tunic decorated with raised curved lines which run down the sleeves and converge in the middle of the body. This image has a ladder like border, with pellets in each section at its two sides. The bottom and upper edge are not complete.
The object may be part of a pilgrim badge or religious token?
