A hammered silver coin of post-medieval date. A very heavily clipped and filed Shilling of Charles I which has presumably been made into a smaller denomination, probably a penny. The remainder of the coin is very heavily worn. It measures 18.6mm diameter by 0.8mm thick and weighs 2.40g.
