A flint scraper of probable Bronze Age date, circa 2700 - 1600 BC. The flint has no cortex remaining and is therefore a tertiary flake. The flake is sub-ovate in plan with a sub-rectangular section. The dorsal face has four flakes removed in a parallel pattern. The ventral face is smooth with a low bulb of percussion. There is short, sub-parallel, abrupt retouch to the right mesal to produce a thumb scaper. The flake is pale grey in colour with pale inclusions. Length 25.2mm, width 21.1mm and thickness 10.1mm. Weight 7.3gm.
