Silver Groat of Edward III (C.1327 - 1377)

Obverse shows crowned bust facing. Reverse shows long cross dividing the ledend, with three pellets in each quarter.

Pre-treaty fourth coinage, series D, standard type F, with Cross 1 initial and mint mark, with closed C's and lis on the chest of bust. London mint, 1352 - 1353.
