Discussion: These coins are an addenda to an existing coin hoard which is currently going through the Treasure Process (2017 T39, BM-CDE9E6). Both coins can be attributed to the catalogue numbers/types: ABC 2433, Van Ardsell (VA) type 1476, BM 295-330
Conclusion: Consequently, in terms of age, number and as the objects contain a minimum of 10% precious metal, the hoard qualifies as Treasure under the stipulations of the Treasure Act 1996 (subject to coroners inquest).
Subsequent action after recording: Returned to finder after being disclaimed as Treasure
