A complete knapped lithic implement of Neolithic date, circa 4000 - 2350. The lithic is sub-circular in profile and plano-convex in section. It is light grey/brown in colour with pale inclusions. The dorsal surface is invasively flaked in a parallel pattern. The ventral surface is smooth with a small striking platform and a low bulb of percussion with ripples emanating from it. There is short, sub-parallel, semi-abrupt retouch to the left mesal. The lithic retains no cortex and is therefore a tertiary flake.
