A complete, cast, lead, spindle whorl of probable Medieval date. It is biconical in shape, with a circular perforation in the centre. It has a cream patina. The weight is heavily abraded with multiple gouges so it is hard to say whether it was plain or decorated.

Diameter 25mm, height 17mm.

The diameter of the central hole is 9mm.

Weight 37.4 grams.
