Early Neolithic tertiary hard hammer struck scraper of lightly patinated mottled grey and brown flint with steep retouch to the distal end to form the scraping edge. 43 x 41 x 12.5 mm.
Early Neolithic tertiary end scraper of lightly patinated mottled grey flint. The flake for this tool was hard hammer struck from a single platform core with four previous blade-like flakes being removed before this one was struck, the distal end was steeply retouched to form the scraping edge. Because of the elongated nature of this scraper, it is possible that it could have been hafted. 57 x 28 x 8 mm.
