A fragment of what is likely to be a larger piece of jewellery, possibly a brooch or part of a necklace.
The item comprises three broken bands of copper-alloy, wrapped and held together with a further short band. In addition there is a further broken section of a band.
The outer surface of the bands have a pressed Greek key (or meander) pattern with gilt inlay. The art-deco style pattern and decoration suggest the object is modern, possibly dating from the 1920s.
The object is a total of 40.18mm long, 18.7mm wide, and up to 5.6mm thick. Each of the bands are 0.86mm thick. The item weighs 4.8g.
