Roman copper alloy disc brooch, Thickness: 2.0 mm, diameter: 22 mm, weight: 4.32 g. . The brooch is circular in form and rectangular in cross section and has a raised outer border, containing a an inner circular raised border which contains a raised cruciform motif formed from four crescents butting up to the inner border. There is a small raised ring in the centre, and traces of red enamel infill. The reverse has a semi-circular pin lug and rectangular catchplate This object matches Hattatt fig. 206, e.g. 1137, 100-200.
