A complete though distorted 'fede' finger ring of Post-Mediveal date, c. AD 1620 - 1720. The bezel is in the form of two hands, one clasped in the other, with a heart projecting between them to the upper edge. Each hand projects from an elaborate lace-like ruffed cuff. The hoop extends from either cuff. It has a D-shaped section and is bent out of shape. The interior surface of the finger ring is inscribed with capitalised text reading: x YOVR x HART x I x CRAVE x.

Length: 23.8mm; Width: 6.4mm - 2.1mm; Thickness: 1.3mm - 0.8; Weight: 1.9g.
