Roman? copper alloy mount or finial? 23mm long, 12mm wide and 14mm thick with a weight of 16.71grams. The obbject is circular in cross section and sub rectangular in form. It has a flat circular base below a short tapered neck. Above this the object is 'acorn' like with a rounded collar below a domed top. The object is a decoartive terminal or handle of some sort.
