Medieval silver penny of Edward IV, second reign (1471-1483) dating to AD 1471 to 1476. Local dies . Minted at Durham. North (1991:95) no.1663.
There is a hole through the coin, probably damage at a thin point, near the edge at 6 o'clock on the obverse and 12 on the reverse. The coin is also cracked.
