Just over half of a tin-coated post-medieval copper alloy double-looped buckle frame, both loops oval, with moulded decoration on the sides and edge(s) which is broadly comparable with Whitehead 2003, no. 420. The knop on the edge is not certainly a quatrefoil and there is a ribbed moulding rather than a lobe at the ends of the bar. Estimated length 45mm. Width 25mm. c.1550 - c.1650.
