Copper alloy key fragment. Cast rectangular bit and cylindrical stem of a key attached to a short part of the hoop of a finger ring. The bit has a short horizontal cleft on one side, and is grooved along its base. The stem has a longitudinal hole of diameter 2.4mm. The hoop is of a worn rectangular section, narrowing away from the key. A Roman ring key of Guiraud's type 5a, 43-410 AD.
