An extremely worn and abraded rim sherd from a probable wheel-thrown vessel of Medieval date, c. 1150-1400. The fabric demonstrates a blackish colour on its exterior surface, while the interior is somewhat more brownish. Frequent inclusions of sand temper are visible, while the original size of the vessel is difficult to ascertain due to its small size. It measures 20.12mm long, 20.58mm wide, and 8.44mm thick at the rim. It weighs 4.24g.
