A Medieval silver cut halfpenny of Henry III (AD 1216-1272), dating to AD 1251-1272. Voided long cross penny of class 5g - i, minted in London. Uncertain moneyer. North (1994: 227), nos. 997-999.
Although there is no surviving detail to definitively seperate between the above groups, this coin is probably class 5g given that the workmanship does not appear crude enough for class 5h-i.

Obverse description: Crowned bust forward holding a sceptre with "III" of inscription between it's tip and the hand. Oval eyes with pellet centre.

Reverse inscription: [...]/ ON L/ VND (O & N litigated, N & D litigated)
