A complete piece of flint Debitage of Mesolithic date (AD 9000-3550). The object is a utilised waste flake. The lithic is sub-rectangular in plan and plano-convex in section. The dorsal surface contains covering parallel flaking. The proximal edge has been abruptly blunted and all other edges have fine semi-abrupt retouch. The ventral surface is flat with a single negative scar situated at the proximal end. The lithic retains no cortex and is therefore a tertiary flake.
