A silver half groat of Elizabeth I, AD 1558-1603. North number 2016. Obverse shows a Crowned bust left with two pellets behind head. Initial mark is probably an escallop. Obverse legend reads EDG ROSA SINE SPINA.

Reverse legend reads [CIVI/ITAS]/LON/DON. Reverse shows a Square shield on long cross fourchee. Die axis is 5 o'clock. Weight is 1.07g, diameter is 16.5mm, thickness is 0.8mm.
