Copper alloy button. Probably die stamped oval button with an incised petalled motif at the centre of its front; this was probably drawn by hand-operated machine. A boss on the back retains a separate drawn wire loop. A silvery tint may arise from tin in the metal mix. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1800-1900.
