A complete copper alloy decorated finger ring, of Post Medieval dating (AD1700 to AD 1800).
The finger ring consists of a flat hoop, with moulded external decoration. The decoration is unclear but consists of a repeating design of floral decoration. The design appears to repeat several times. The internal surface is undecorated.
The finger ring has an external diameter of 19.7 mm and an internal diameter of 16.6 mm. The hoop is 4.8 mm wide and 1.3 mm thick. It weighs 1.6 g.
The finger ring is a mid dark brown, with an uneven surface patina. Abrasion, caused by movement whilst within the plough soil, has resulted in a loss of some of the original surface detail.
