An incomplete medieval copper-alloy double sheet strap end, with a crenelated end and rocker-arm decoration, dating to the period 1200-1500. The strap end is incomplete insofar as one end of the upper sheet appears damaged and missing; the non-crenelated end has rocker-arm decoration extending to the end (suggesting it originally extended beyond it), and does not mirror the shape of the other sheet. The lower plate apparently has a recent break at its tip. The strap end measures 40.56mm in length and 17.94mm in width.

The rocker-arm decoration on the sheet appears to have divided the sheet into ten rectangular segments, within each is a diagonal line bisecting each segment. The rocker-arm decoration extends the entire length of the sheet, which terminates with a rectangular base. At the crenelated end, at the base of each resulting triangle is a rivet, two in total, which holds the two sheets of the double sheet strap end together. There is no decoration on the second sheet, though approximately the final 5mm has been bent away from the other sheet and ends in a broadly trapezoid fashion, the tip (possibly a form of attachment) having been broken off. The strap end has a smooth, light green patina throughout, and weighs 6.68g.
