Incomplete medieval copper alloy rectangular openwork anthropomorphic mount. It is broken across the stumps of both sides at the upper end. The body carries a knight and a lady with arms outstretched embracing, cast in relief, slightly hollow-backed, with a flange at the foot with twin rivet-holes, one of which retains a domed copper alloy rivet. The lady faces left and is wearing a long gown and the knight a hooded knee-length mail hauberk. He carries a sword on his left side. The detail is worn and corroded although traces of angular features and mail survive. There are traces of white metal coating on the obverse.
