A lead alloy shot, dating to the post medieval period, c.1600-1800 AD. The shot was once spherical, but now one side has been flattend due to impact. This falttened side has an uneven surface. The casting seam is just visible around the circumference. A dark grey patina is on the surface. The weight of the shot suggests they may have been meant for firing from a carbine or light musket.
The shot measures 13.85mm in length, 19.85mm in diameter and weighs 23.87g.
