A gold Iron Age quarter stater of the North Thames / Eastern region, c.60-20 BC, 'Maldon Wheel' type. Obverse depicts stylised hair above a wreath with crescents and ringed pellets joined by a beaded line, and a wheel attached to a spike. The reverse depicts a stylised horse right, sunburst above, pellet boss below. As ABC p. 115, no. 2234; CCI-982138, CCI-20926, CCI-20852.
