A small post medieval silver thimble, now squashed and distorted, probably dating to the second half of the 17th century. The thimble is 16mm long. The pits are stamped on a diagonal grid. Around the rim is a decorative band comprising swags, foliate shapes and flowers, a diagonal grid infilled with flowers, and at least one human mask. There is no maker's mark.
