A Medieval copper-alloy strap end which incorporates the remains of textile. The two plates have a tapering body; the upper plate is decorated with a diagonal cross of punched zig zags. There are also short lengths of zig zag in the angles. Two rivets, one at each end, secure the plates. The terminal projects from a constriction and has five notches in the edge which form a raised four-armed motif.
