A complete Post Medieval lead-alloy button, dating 16th century to early 17th century. The button is biconvex and solid, with an integral undrilled, circular-section loop. There is no decoration on the button. The button has an overall grey colour. A similar button is illustrated in Read(2005:69, no.248) with a date of c.16th century, possibly extending into the early 17th century.
