An almost complete post-Medieval copper-alloy mount (c. 1600-c. 1700).
This mount is flat at the front, largely flat at the rear and the edges at the front are bevelled. It is broadly sub-triangular in plan, pointed at one end, straight at the opposite end and the sides are concave. Two tapering spikes at the rear are circular in cross-section and the point of one is missing due to a break.
This mount is silvery green and has a white metal coating at the front.
