A complete copper-alloy coin weight of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1694 - 1702. The coin weight is circular and biface. The obverse depicts the laureate bust right of William III. The reverse depicts a crown with crossed sceptre above the value of ½ // GVINEA // W (½ guinea).
The metal has a mid-green patina and is worn. The coin weight is 16.5mm in diameter and weighs 2.7g.
A similar example is illustrated in Withers, 1995, p.16.
