Incomplete medieval gilt copper alloy cross-shaped mount with a separate convex-headed central rivet. The three extant arms are of the same length and of D-shaped cross-section. They thicken and widen to their rounded ends. The fourth arm is a stump only. Width 23.4mm. The rivet projects 3mm beyond the reverse. Maximum thickness of arms 1.6mm. Mid 12th - 13th century.
