Post medieval copper alloy strap fitting or dress fitting consisting of an openwork plate with a circular loop projecting from one side. The corresponding plate would have had an integrally cast hook. The plate is decorated in the form of a crescent moon with an anthropomorphic face and a seven-pointed star bridging the gap between the two tips of the crescent. The reverse exhibits two integrally cast pointed lugs. It exhibits traces of white metal coating.
