Pottery. Handmade shell tempered fabric, smooth to touch, two joining body sherds. This sherd was kindly identified by Helen Fry and Sandra Firth of the North Lincolnshire Pottery Research Group. The smooth outer surface is presumably burnished. Suggested date: Late Iron Age, 100 BC-AD100.
