An incomplete silver Roman denarius of Caracalla, AD 201 (Reece period 10). Reverse: PART MAX PONT TR P IIII, two captives seated against the base of a trophy. Mint of Rome. As RIC vol. IV part 1, p. 220, no. 54a. A small section from the edge of the flan has broken away in old damage.
