A post-medieval copper asymmetrical double loop buckle with bevelled inside and outside edges, incomplete in so far as it is missing its pin. The buckle has one rectangular loop and one D-shaped loop. The central bar is narrowed and bent slightly backwards in profile. The metal has a dark green patina. The buckle is 25.30mm length, 18mm width, 1.4mm thick and weighs 1.59g.
A similar example is in Whitehead (1996) on page 90, no.561, which is dated from c.1575-1700.
The buckle is similar to PAS find YORYM-D1B2A7.
