Copper alloy Roman brooch of developed T-shaped; Colchester derivative, hinged type. Large rectangular head plate surmounted buy a truncated head loop, at the rear of the head plate is a double pierced lug in order to mount the pin which is now missing. The bow is undecorated except for a small projecting lug at its apex and a grove running down either side. The lower part of the bow is truncated resulting in the loss of the catch plate.
