A Medieval lead-alloy pilgrim's souvenir, a Canterbury bell dating to the late 14th early 15th century. The bell has been squashed and flattend but it would have been a truncated cone in shape, slightly flaring at the mouth. There is a perforation at the peak from which the clapper would have been hung. The clapper is no longer present. There is a moulded pattern or now illegible inscription around the rim, common on pilgrim souvenirs of this type, see Bruna (1996;262-68).

Dimensions: width: 30.85mm; height: 26.91mm; weight: 8.79g.

Examples on the database are KENT-EC8680, LON-C82858 and LEIC-6F1903.
