A small fragment of a cast copper alloy turned vessel of probable late medieval to post medieval date (1400 - 1650). The fragment consists of part of the rim and small section of the sidewall. Due to the fragmentary nature of the find the diameter of the vessel cannot be suggested. The upper edge of the rim has a series of heavily filed incised lines whilst the internal and external surfaces have a brushed / turned surface. The vessel fragments are a mid green grey colour with a coroded surface patina.
The fragments measures 42.8mm length, 35.4mm width, is 7.2mm thick at rim and 4.1mm thick body; it weighs 36.41 grams.
