Cast lead alloy repair patch, possibly Roman or medieval dating from the 1st-15th century AD. The patch is circular with much corrosion on the outside, but a vein of bright silver across the centre. I t may have been a repair patch for a ceramic vessel, either of Roman or medieval date.
