A copper-alloy strap end constructed from two strips of metal.The strap end is lonzenge shaped with a knop at the terminal end and the attachment end is concave in two places. The two plates of copper-alloy are held together by two rivets, one at each end. The strap end is undecorated. It is medieval in date and similar types are illustrated in Egan and Pritchard (1991, pages 146-147; figs 699-701). This strap end probably ranges in date from 1350 to 1400.
