Three copper alloy coins of uncertain date and ruler discovered within 10-15 feet of each other on cultivated land. All are possibly ancient in date, perhaps c.2nd century BC to 410 AD, although close identification is problematic due to the preservation of the objects and alater date range cannot be ruled out entirely.
Coin 1: 18mm in diameter, 3.5g. Uncertain copper-alloy coin with worn motifs on both faces. Perhaps a barbarous copy, or alternatively more modern (foreign?) in date.
Coin 2: 18mm in diameter, 3.7g. Uncertain copper-alloy coin. One face depicting worn geometric motifs comprising pellets and transverse lines. The opposite face uncertain but with possible stylised wreath motif? Possibly Iron Age?
Coin 3: 17mm in diameter, 4.2g. Uncertain Iron Age coin. Obverse(?) face is illegible. Reverse(?) face possibly depicting a standing figure left (Victory?).
