Copper alloy possible cuff link. Two cast objects, linked by a drawn wire [diameter 0.7mm] double-ended loop of length 18.2mm whose centre part is clasped by a folded rectangular sheet metal sleeve with a butted joint. One of the cast objects is a dumbbell-shaped element of length 21.6mm with a sphere of diameter 6.5mm at either end; the shank has a diameter of 2.8mm. An integrally cast loop at its mid point retains one end of the wire loop. The loop at its other end passes through a pair of drilled holes in a separate sphere of diameter 8.8mm. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1600-1700.
