A rimsherd of a wheel thrown ceramic vessel, of Roman dating (2nd to 4th Centuries AD).

The sherd consists of a rimsherd, in a fabric is similar to that of local (unsourced) greyware, consistent with 2nd to 4th Century AD dating. The rim type is that of a rounded everted type, probably consistent with a storage bowl or jar. Not enough of the rim is present to allow an accurate determination of original rim diameter.

The sherd is 7.1 mm thick and weighs 25.2 g. It has a length of 31.8 mm and is 67.5 mm wide.
