A complete spherical lead alloy ball, probably a musket ball or shot, of Post Medieval dating (17th Century AD onwards).
The lead shot is sub spherical.
It is a light to mid grey colour with an even surface patina. Abrasion, caused by movement whilst within the plough soil, has resulted in the loss of some of the original surface detail.
It has a diameter of 15.6 mm and weighs 20.8 grams.
