Roman Polden Hill type brooch (ADc. 80-120): The copper alloy brooch has wings which are semi-cylindrical, and terminate with perforated incomplete wing caps. The axis bar, spring and pin are missing. The wings are undecorated. The bowhead is hump-like in profile and undecorated. The bow is sub-oval and terminates with a broken terminal. This is not a recent break. The surface of the brooch has a dark grey abraded patina. It measures 24.96mm long, 19.59mm wide across the wings and weighs 6.72g.

The brooch is a Polden Hill type, Bayley and Butcher (2004:160) comment that the distribution of Polden Hill brooches are concentrated in the West Midlands and suggest they date to AD80 to 120.
